Itinerary : Auckland - Bay of Island - Cape Reinga - Corommandel - Rotorua - Matamata - Tauranga - Waitomo - Auckland
Day 1 : Auckland City Tour
You will be tour around the highlighted Auckland Spots. As a largest city of New Zealand, there are lots of places you can enjoy. You will be visited Mission Bay, Sky tower, the Rose Garden of Parnell, One Tree Hill, Auckland Domain and Museum. Auckland has 40% populations of New Zealand.
Day 2 : Bay of Island
Bay of Islands are the most beautiful tourist spots in Northland Area. The Bay of Islands encompasses 144 islands near around Opua, Russell and Kerikeri.
You will ride the cruise to roam around the islands with dolphin watch. The cruise will enter the hole in the rock which is the most popular island rock in this area. After riding cruise, you will visit the most historical area called 'Waitangi'.
Day 3 : Cape Reinga via 90 Miles Beach -> Auckland
You will head up to the top of New Zealand called 'Cape Reinga'. This place is the joint area between Tasmania and Pacific Ocean. On the way you will be stop at 90 miles beach which is the sandy road for 90 miles to the top of New Zealand. Near to the top, there is a huge sand dunes, You will have an experience to ride the sand board. It's very fast and exciting. Finally, you will reach at the Cape Reinga.
Day 4 : Auckland -> Coromandel -> Hamilton
You will be picked up at your hotel in Auckland around 9:00am. You will going to Corommandel Peninsula which is about 2 hours away from Auckland. You will visited the Cathedral Cove, Driving Creek Railway and the Hot Water Beach. Cathedral Cove is the most beautiful cove in this area and it's also a film location of 'Narnia Chronicles'.
Driving Creek Railway is the one of hottest tourist spot. This railway is on a narrow gauge mountain railway with superb views. Hot Water Beach is the volcanic area. The hot water comes up from the beach sand. This hot water is natural volcanic sulfur water. You will need a swimming clothe or any extra clothe to enjoy it.
Day 5 : Hamilton -> Rotorua
You will move to Rotorua from Hamilton which will take around 1.5 hrs. At Rotorua, you will visit few attractions as Te Puia, Agrodome, Skyline, The Redwood forest, and the Hot Spring. Rotorua is the area of the volcanic thermal parks. Also, it's the one of 'MUST VISIT' city in North Island. Once you arrive at Rotorua, you will visit Te Puia, the Maori Village with the volcanic thermal parks. You can see the 'Haka' performance which is the 'Maori Show' with Maori traditional food called 'Hangi'. After performance, you will see the geyser of the volcano.
After lunch, you will visit 'Agrodome' to have an experience of the farm performance of the NZ Sheep.
The Redwood forest is the place of 'Jerassic World filming location'. It's the gorgeous forest to visit.
After Dinner, you will visit the hot spring for 1.5 hr to relax your body. The water of hot spring in Rotorua is highly affected to our skin to improve the skin condition.
Day 6 : Rotorua -> Taupo Lake -> Rotorua
Taupo lake is the largest lake in New Zealand. This town is the holiday town so there are lots of attractions as Bungy Jumping, Skydive, Water Ski, heliport and so on. You will visit the Huka falls. This is the one of popular waterfall at Taupo. This waterfall is flows from Waikato River, and it drains Lake Taupo. This is not the tall and wide waterfall but it's very strong waterfall which dropping over 8 metres and 220,000 litre per second.
After this, you will visit the Taupo Lake then enjoy the attractions if you want to. The attractions are optional choice for those who can not ride the attraction.
Day 7 : Rotorua ->Matamata -> Tauranga
This day, the tour will be not tightened to be relaxed . You will move to the Hobbiton Village, the movie set location of "Lord of the rings". This is the populated location in the world. You will be joined in a tour at the village. It takes around 2.5 hrs. After this, you will move to Tauranga City, 1 hr away from Matamata. Tauranga is the harbor-side city in the Bay of Plenty region. There are few historic buildings like the Elms Mission Station. and 1847 Georgian-Style home. Once you arrive at Tauranga city, you will have a lunch then will have trekking time to go up to the top of the Mt.Maunganui. Mt.Maunganui is the landmark of Tauranga City. It's only 232 metres of height. After climb a mountain, you will have a rest in the city.
Day 8 : Tauranga -> Waitomo -> Auckland
You will move to the Waitomo Cave from Tauranga City. Waitomo is the cetre of the lava cave in New Zealand. There are more than 100 of lava caves. Waitomo was the part of the ocean but it became a land after eruption. One of the cave has around 10,000 glowworms to light up their body. After the cave, you will be back to Auckland City.
