Itinerary : Auckland - Corommandel Peninsular - Matamata - Rotorua - Taupo - Tongarino National Park - New Plymouth - Waitomo - Auckland
Day 1 : Auckland City Tour
You will be tour around the highlighted Auckland Spots. As a largest city of New Zealand, there are lots of places you can enjoy. You will be visited Mission Bay, Sky tower, the Rose Garden of Parnell, One Tree Hill, Auckland Domain and Museum. Auckland has 40% populations of New Zealand.
Day 2 : Corommandel Peninsula
You will be picked up at your hotel in Auckland around 9:00am. You will going to Corommandel Peninsula which is about 2 hours away from Auckland. You will visited the Cathedral Cove, Driving Creek Railway and the Hot Water Beach. Cathedral Cove is the most beautiful cove in this area and it's also a film location of 'Narnia Chronicles'.
Driving Creek Railway is the one of hottest tourist spot. This railway is on a narrow gauge mountain railway with superb views. Hot Water Beach is the volcanic area. The hot water comes up from the beach sand. This hot water is natural volcanic sulfur water. You will need a swimming clothe or any extra clothe to enjoy it.
Day 3 : Matamata Hobbiton Village (LOTR Shooting Location) -> Rotorua
You will be picked up at your hotel by 9:00am. You will move to Matamata Hobbiton Village and takes around 1.5 hours from hotel. Hobbiton Village was the shooting location of 'the Lord of the rings' which has been filmed from 2001 till 2003 and the movie 'hobbit' from 2012 till 2014 by Peter Jackson Director. He has choosen this village as it's simmilar to his imaginated place. You will take a tour around in the village for about 3 hours. After you enjoy the village, you will have simple lunch at the cafe then move to Rotorua.
When you arrive at rotorua, you will have nice relax time at the natural thermal spa for about 2 hours.
This spa is the most popular thermal spa in the world. As know as rotorua is live volcanic thermal area, the spa is popular and the water is purely natural sulpur water which is really good for Skin and realxation from the tiredness.
Day 4 : Rotorua -> Taupo
You will move to Taupo after tour around in Rotorua. You will going to visit Agrodome Sheep farm. At Agrodome, there is a farm show with sheep performances and the farm tour to visit inside of the farm. You can feed them some foods. After this you will visit the redwood forest and the paradise spring. The Redwood forrest is the location of the Jurassic World. And then, you will visit the paradise spring valley. Paradise spring valley is the forest park with spring water ponds and the lion cage. You can see the lion feeding. As a last spot in Rotorua, you will visit Tepuia, the traditional maori Village with volcanic thermal park. You can see the Maori performance called Haka.
Day 5 : Taupo -> Tongarino National Park -> New Plymouth
You will move to New Plymouth via Tongarino National Park. First of all, you will visit Huka Falls. This is the most popular waterfall at Taupo area. At Huka Falls, you can try the Jet Ski as an optional. This waterfall is on the Waikato River that drains Lake Taupo in New Zealand. A few hundres metres upstream from the Huka Falls. It's about 100 metres accros into a canyon only 15 metres accros. After this you will enjoy at the lake taupo with Bungy jumping or Skydiving. The bungy jumping and the skyding are very popular adventure sports in Taupo. You can try one of them as an optional. I personally recommed you to try skydiving.
Day 6 : New Plymouth Mt.Taranaki
You will be tour around Mt.Taranaki with Taranaki Tour company. The internationally recognised ‘Around Mt. Taranaki Tour’ is available all year round. Day 7 : New Plymouth -> Waitomo -> Auckland
You will move to Waitomo where has lots of glow worm Caves. Waitomo is known for extensive underground cave systems. Thousands of glow-worms light up the Glowworm cave. You will tour the cave for about 2 hours as private cave tour. After this you will have simple lunch at the cafe near the cave. After lunch, you will move back to Auckland City, takes about 2.5 hours.
